Orbital Tracking Corp. Continues Global Expansion With Launch of Online Retail Operations in Mexico
Company's Expansion Capitalizes on Strong Predicted e-Commerce Growth in Mexico
AVENTURA, FL -- (Marketwired) -- 09/15/15 -- Orbital Tracking Corp., (OTC PINK: TRKK) (the "Company"), announced today that it has launched its online retail operations in Mexico as part of its continued global expansion plans for its growing portfolio of Mobile Satellite Solutions ("MSS"). The new Mexican storefront, which is accessed through Amazon.com.mx, expands the Company's operational footprint to eight countries, including the UK, the United States, Canada, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy.

Recent research conducted by the Mexican Internet Association ("AMIPCI") and Forrester Research suggest that Mexico's 110 million residents are increasingly embracing online retailers. According to the AMIPCI, Mexico's small but growing e-commerce industry reported a 34% annual growth rate, and that 75% of Mexican internet users have made at least one online purchase in the first four months of 2015. Forrester's Latin America eCommerce Forecast predicts that e-commerce sales in Mexico will grow 150 percent between 2013 and 2018, reaching $5.5 billion by 2016, driven by a 114 percent increase in online buyers, from 8.4 million in 2013 to 18 million in 2018.
To support increased sales operations in Latin and Central America, the Company is in the process of recruiting a dedicated Miami-based sales team to service both consumer and commercial customers in the region. As part of this process, the Company is preparing a new multi-lingual website which will also be accessible to customers in Latin and Central American markets.
